I'm just a hobbyist who enjoys stories and art, and decided I want to try and combine the two into a game. Usually I'm more of a casual gamer, mainly because I don't have a ton of time to devote to getting good at more skill-based games. I prefer my games to have good stories anyway, which is why I enjoy watching a few YouTube let's players to find games that I really appreciate for their plots (Five Nights as Freddy's, Undertale, Evil Within, Outlast, etc.)
I'm currently working on a project called "Cry Out", which will be an interactive novel that twists demonology and modern science. Right now, I'm focusing on figuring out Ren'Py (the coding program for it) and writing the story itself. Still in the works are background images for each area and some ambiance sounds. The distant back burner is getting the writing edited and reviewed, and deciding on whether or not to monetize the game.
Feel free to follow me on twitter @EvenirX. I'll try to keep it updated with what's going on in development, but I am finishing out college right now in an unrelated degree, so be aware it will be slow going.
